Implementasi Model Coaching dalam Pengembangan Keperawatan Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Mediasi Masalah pada Perawat Baru Rumah Sakit Mayapada Kuningan Indonesia

This study aims to explore the implementation of the coaching model in nursing development to improve problem mediation skills in new nurses at Mayapada Kuningan Hospital, Indonesia. The background of this research is based on the high professional demands of new nurses in dealing with clinical work dynamics, including interpersonal conflicts, work pressures, and the need for effective decision-making. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) involving implementing nurses, nurse preceptors, and clinical nurse educators. The data was analyzed using NVivo software to identify key patterns and themes that emerged from respondents' experiences. The results of the study showed that the application of the coaching model made a positive contribution to improving communication skills, problem solving, and conflict mediation skills in new nurses. The five main themes identified include management support, the quality of interpersonal relationships, the process of continuous reflection, the increase in confidence, and the challenges of implementing the coaching model in the clinical environment. These findings confirm that coaching not only plays a role as a learning method, but also as a strategy to strengthen the professionalism of new nurses. This study recommends the systematic integration of coaching models in new nurse orientation and development programs to improve the quality of nursing services and create a collaborative and conducive work environment.
